Cerebrus Reward Certification Program

Covid-19 has brought about a significant paradigm shift in the way many organizations operate. Where work from home was restricted to certain sectors which were high on digitization, today, the same has become unavoidable for the others.

The new normal, similarly, comes with new challenges for HR professionals as well, with companies opting for different approaches to manage manpower numbers and costs. In the wake of these changing circumstances, Cerebrus Consultants has launched its online certification program on Rewards with a view to help HR professionals up-skill themselves to meet the challenges of the new world post Covid-19. The certification was designed for middle and junior level HR professionals.

The program was conducted in the 4th week of April 2020 and garnered a good participation of 50+ candidates in addition to enquiries for a second batch as well. We saw pan-India representation from across industries like Infotech/IT services, FMCG, Engineering, BFSI, Healthcare, Education and few others, including participation from overseas.

The course provided a holistic perspective to participants on understanding Key concepts in Compensation & Benefits, Total Rewards & Cost to Company Approach, Interpreting & using survey data and Basics of Compensation Strategy & Design. Citing relevant industry examples, the program gave an insightful exposure to all participants aiming to strengthen their skills around Total Rewards.

The program ended with our Founder & CEO, Anita Ramachandran, addressing the participants. Anita is a well-known HR expert in the country with over 35 years of experience in areas of Strategic HR, Organization Design and Rewards.  She shared her thoughts and insights on how the Covid-19 pandemic has impacted businesses and what are some of the approaches companies have opted for, to address these issues. She also shed some light on how the future is likely to pan out post the pandemic in terms of changes in business and people strategies and HR’s role in bringing about this change.

Participant feedback has been very positive. They were extremely satisfied with the program and were highly appreciative about the entire course content and delivery. They participated actively with many real-time queries which were duly addressed by our team. Even the seasoned professionals gained fresh insights through all the shared experiences and learning.

Feedback from our previous batch:
The facilitators with their very strong background and hands on experience in Total Rewards and Bench-marking surveys made the delivery so effective that we learnt the intricacies easily. Additionally, the case studies components as part of the design helped us retain much of what we learned. Pre-read material and post session questionnaire proved that the team is not only an expert in C&B but also L&D.

The program was very informative and I believe it covered all the major areas related to compensation. The outlook by the founder was very insightful about the current situation.

This program has given me a fresh outlook of Comp & Ben. Though it was a refresher for me, there were many unanswered queries in compensation, in the past got answered in this training. Thanks a lot for the excellent delivery of the program.
